Taylor is an American photographer and photojournalist with extensive experience shooting in Mongolia.

Taylor’s editorial assignments cover breaking news and features, while his self-driven work concentrates on intimate, quirky, and overlooked stories. Clients include National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, GEO, Nature, and others. He is a regular assignment photographer for Getty Images and Bloomberg and his archives are represented by Redux Pictures.

Taylor has shot a broad spectrum of commercial projects with commissions ranging from fashion to manufacturing to advertising. Clients include international NGO’s, fashion brands, airlines, and retailers.

Taylor has a degree in photography from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. After working at the C.S. Monitor in Boston, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to photograph the Loba people of Upper Mustang, Nepal. Taylor went on to produce long-term projects in Mongolia and the Brazilian Amazon before moving permanently to Asia in 2013. Taylor is based in Chiang Mai, Thailand and travels frequently to Mongolia for shoots.
